...clear the clog in the refrigerator water dispenser line day. I swear, something is always broken.

It was time to change our the fridge water filter, so I bought one this morning at Lowe's. They didn't have OEM, so I had to get a knockoff brand. I can't say for sure that the filter itself caused the problem, but while I was out running another errand this afternoon, my wife tried to change the filter and couldn't get the replacement to engage. It appears that it's not manufactured to the exact specs, so the fit is really snug. When I got home, I was able to get it installed with a little muscle, but then the dispenser immediately clogged and the water line from the wall started vibrating like water was having a hard time passing through part of the system.

Long story short, after much cursing and troubleshooting, it appears that while the filter was out, a small ice clog formed. I had taken all the lines apart and blew compressed air through them without really pinpointing the issue, but it wasn't until I filled the old filter up with hot water and re-installed it that things started flowing normally again. Wish I would have thought of that originally.
